The Merry Fisher 585 is a great day/weekend boat. Extremely stable and quick, with a large cockpit area and great hull design. The Merry Fisher 585 is well-suited for family boating. The Merry Fisher 585 is a great coastal cruising day boat. Troy 1 has been well maintained and is reluctantly being sold. This boat with the appropriate trailer can be easily towed by most cars. A berth at Gillingham Marina in Kent is also available.
Accommodation :
This Merry Fisher 585 has a large double berth in the forward cabin with under berth storage, and shelving to both port and starboard side.
The wheelhouse saloon area offers great natural light and great visibility through two large forward and two side facing windscreens.
The single seat helm position is located on the starboard side with wheel steering, engine controls, access to GPS and Chart Plotter, VHF, and the control switches for the boat. The port side offers a single bench seat.
Located under the helm on the starboard side, is a single sink with cold manual pumped water.
The patio doors led out to a large aft cockpit for a boat of its size, with booth rear seating with under-seat storage, and cockpit cushions.

This Merry Fisher 585 was built by Jeanneau in 2007 to a 2008 specification with a blue hull with a white superstructure, a self-draining cockpit, and moulded nonslip decks.
The current owner has enjoyed the boat since 2011, but due to shortly moving abroad no longer uses the boat. This Merry Fisher was last ashore in March 2024 when her anodes were changed, antifouled and the engine gearbox was replaced. Owner is open to offers for a quick sale.
